Company Founder and Director

Caroline Edmunds

Caroline Edmunds has over 20 years experience in PR and marketing and founded Pennington PR in 1997, following ten years in the London press office of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) and time as International PR manager for their fragrance sector.

Caroline’s experience in the industry has given her an enviable database of media contacts and she always impresses with her smart approach to business and creative solutions to the most difficult of communications problems.

Caroline is a member of the Institute of Public Relations and holds a post-graduate level qualification in PR – Dip.CAM. Her specialist skills lie in business, consumer and travel PR.

On the rare occasions when she’s not working, Caroline loves to travel and makes time every year for an annual skiing holiday.

Darryl Curcher

Darryl joined Pennington in 1997 and has over ten years marketing and communications experience.

Passionate about marketing, Darryl thrives on building relationships and delivering results. He specialises in event management, technology and social media.  His extraordinary understanding of logistics ensures the events he manages run smoothly and on budget. 

Having turned his hobby into a career, Darryl also has over 15 years experience as an event, lifestyle and wedding photographer. His communications experience means Darryl produces the perfect press shot time and again for clients, which has resulted in some amazing national press coverage.

Darryl enjoys cricket and skiing.

Account Executive

Kate Randolph

Kate was cutting her teeth in PR when she joined Pennington in 2008 as an Account Executive.

Kate works across all clients and loves the challenges each day brings, from creative writing and developing campaigns to research and event planning. Her specialist skills lie in media monitoring, social media engagement and client launches.

Kate has a passion for travel and having holidayed in the Maldives, Rome and Les Arcs is now planning on visiting Asia.  

Creative Writer and Event Manager

Lea White

Lea has over 25 years experience in the communications industry, working as a writer for numerous publications and as the editor for Kentish Ways magazine. Lea supports the team on a wide variety of tasks from creative writing and article placement to proof reading and campaign planning. 

Lea also has experience in event management and fundraising and spends most of her time on site planning and managing client events.

Marion Standen

Marion has been with Pennington PR since the company was founded in 1997 and her contribution is invaluable.

Marion has a passion for PR and on top of managing the office; she frequently provides creative input and assists with event management and team brainstorming sessions.
